Amber de Tollenaere
Founder & Head coach
Amber is the driving force behind A Different Track. She works daily with horses and people to create more connection, trust and mutual understanding. With her background as a 2* licensed Parelli Natural Horsemanship professional and years of experience in training young, challenging and sensitive horses, she developed a unique approach in which respect for the horse and clear communication are central.
She specializes in laying a strong foundation, both on the ground and in the saddle. Combining practical knowledge with a deep understanding of the psychology of the horse, Amber helps owners truly understand their horse – not just train it. She took intensive training in natural horsemanship around the world and spent several months in the United States at Pat Parelli’s own ranch.
With her warm approach and no-nonsense guidance, she knows how to inspire riders to really listen to their horse, and grow together into a safe, enjoyable partnership. Amber believes that every horse, and every rider, have their own unique path to walk.
“True cooperation starts with mutual trust. When you learn to look at what your horse is trying to tell you, something magical happens.”
Amber teaches classes both on location and at A Different Track’s own domain in Wuustwezel, where she also organizes multi-day training and course days.
Stefanie has been with A Different Track since 2025 as a freelance instructor on the move. Ever since childhood, she felt drawn to horses, but it wasn’t until she completed the three-year Horse & Behavior course that the puzzle pieces fell together for her. She discovered that true cooperation only occurs when we truly understand what goes on behind a horse’s behavior.
Today Stefanie guides horse and owner in finding that sustainable cooperation, paying attention to both the character of the horse and the goals of the owner. She combines clear explanations with practical tools that help owners proceed independently.
“I want to help owners not only understand their horses better, but also strengthen their own communication and leadership skills. Because that’s where it starts.”
Every training is customized and starts with the horse. Stefanie does not start from quick solutions, but focuses on sustainable change and real connection.
Since moving to our new location, Catuja has become a fixture in the daily operations of A Different Track. With her flawless eye for detail, great sense of responsibility and warm commitment to each animal, she makes sure that everything at the yard runs as it should: from grooming to feeding, stable management and getting horses ready for lessons or training.
Catuja is not only practically strong, she also senses with ease what horses (and people) need. She is the quiet engine that keeps running in the background, but without whom A Different Track could never function as it does today.
“A good stable runs not only on vision, but also on dedication. Catuja ís that dedication. Her care is in the little things that make a big difference every day.”
With her calm presence and loving care, she raises the well-being of our horses and the pleasure of working for the team to a higher level.
A Different Track is in full swing. We strongly believe in cooperation and are always open to people with talent, vision and passion for horse-friendly work. Maybe you are the addition that makes our team even stronger?

Not just trainers or instructors – also creative thinkers, administrative centipedes, communication talents, organizational wonders, photographers, videographers, or people with a nose for project development or community building.
